I’m taking care of you during this night shift – Opiekuję się panem/panią  podczas tej nocnej zmiany
How’s your wound? Is it painful? – Jak tam pana/pani rana? Czy jest bolesna?
I’m afraid the wound isn’t healing well – Obawiam się , że ta rana nie goi się dobrze
Could you help me somehow? – Czy mogłabyś mi jakoś pomóc?
Let’s check it – Sprawdźmy to
Your position isn’t comfortable – Pańskie ułożenie nie jest wygodne
It’s enough if I turn you over – Wystarczy, jeśli przekręcę  pana/panią
You’re welcome – Nie ma za co
Let me know please if any other problems – Proszę mi dać znać jak będą  inne problemy

Bożenka: Good evening, Mr Johnson. I’m Bozenka. I’m taking care of you during this night shift.
Pacjent: Good evening, I’m glad that you’re my nurse tonight.
Bożenka: How are you feeling, Mr Johnson? How’s your wound? Is it painful?
Pacjent: Well, I’m not so good. I’m afraid the wound isn’t healing well. Can you help me somehow? What about some painkillers for this pain, nurse?
Bożenka: Let’s check it. Your wound isn’t swollen. I think your position isn’t comfortable. It’s enough if I turn you over. It can be helpful.

A few minutes later.

Bożenka: Is it better now?
Pacjent: No, I guess not. Could you please pull me up a bit, too? Thank you much, nurse. I’m free from pain and it’s much better now.
Bożenka: You’re welcome, Mr Smith. So you see, painkillers aren’t necessary at all. Have a good sleep. Let me know, please, if any other problems
